Sabancı University has taken the top spot in Türkiye in the field of Social Sciences. According to the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2026 results, Sabancı University rose from the 201–250 bracket it was in last year to the 151–175 bracket, ranking first among universities from Türkiye.
According to the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2026 results,Sabancı University once again demonstrated its strong academic performance in various disciplines and its rise in different fields. The rankings are prepared based on the dimensions of Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, Industry and International Outlook, weighted specifically for each field, and 17 sub-indicators under these dimensions. According to the 2026 results, Sabancı University stood out with its strong rise in the field of Social Sciences and its first-ever inclusion in the ranking in the field of Psychology.
Sabancı University Ranks First in Social Sciences
According to the results, Sabancı University achieved a significant success by rising from the 201-250 bracket it was in last year to the 151-175 bracket in the field of Social Sciences. With this rise, Sabancı University ranked first among the universities from Türkiye included in the ranking.
Strong and Stable Performance in Fields
Within the scope of the THE World University Rankings by Subject 2026, Sabancı University maintained its stable standing in various fields while making remarkable progress in some others. In the field of Psychology, Sabancı University entered the ranking for the first time this year, placing in the 301-400 bracket. In the fields of Business Administration and Economics and Engineering, the University maintained its position from the previous year, being listed in the 301-400 bracket in both fields.
